The œuvre of James Joyce has been an object of literary interest for almost a hundred years. As a major twentieth century writer, if not perhaps the most important one, Joyce is generally considered to be a very complex and difficult author, the understanding of whose work may be a life-long endeavour. This collection of papers presents both a general understanding of his writing as well as the latest interpretations of his work by academics in Slovakia.
